though most lenders don’t require a
home inspection to secure a mortgage
they usually advise you to do so. This
is not a step to skip, and inspectors
are always worth the expense.

qualified inspector will have far
better knowledge of what to look for.

inspectors, but don’t forego checking
their references. Online reviews are
helpful, but a good inspector will
